Connecting the Dots.

It has been years since starting a blog, and journeying the art process. At times, I felt awkward telling people what I thought, and worried about what people would say and think. To me, this art journey has been a deeply personal experience, and I'm glad I'm able now to come out of my shell and share this all with you. One of the reasons, is due to a supportive person who I can have in-depth conversations with about the art created, and what it all means. The most important thing he said was, "your art has to come from the heart". And, he's right. I could ask everyone what colour to use, and suggestions, in the end, it taught me to use my intuition to apply what I wanted into the work brought out, and for that, I am grateful for what I've learned, as it helped me banish those blocks.

This piece involved using dot art to create the feeling space, depth, and a feeling of 'falling in'. It was a personal journey into connecting the dots, and discovering not just geometry, but space, time and looking inward to bring what was within to an A3 size piece of paper.
