Connecting the Dots.

Updated: Feb 20, 2022

It has been years since starting a blog, and journeying the art process. At times, I felt awkward telling people what I thought, and worried about what people would say and think. To me, this art journey has been a deeply personal experience, and I'm glad I'm able now to come out of my shell and share this all with you. One of the reasons, is due to a supportive person who I can have in-depth conversations with about the art created, and what it all means. The most important thing he said was, "your art has to come from the heart". And, he's right. I could ask everyone what colour to use, and suggestions, in the end, it taught me to use my intuition to apply what I wanted into the work brought out, and for that, I am grateful for what I've learned, as it helped me banish those blocks.

This piece involved using dot art to create the feeling space, depth, and a feeling of 'falling in'. It was a personal journey into connecting the dots, and discovering not just geometry, but space, time and looking inward to bring what was within to an A3 size piece of paper. Connecting the dots, but not everyone sees it that way...
